Resignation of Filip Dierckx

Filip Dierckx is stepping down from all his functions at BNP Paribas Fortis with immediate effect. He has also made it known that he will not be taking a seat as non-executive director on the Board of Directors of BNP Paribas Fortis. His resignation took effect on 5 December.

As a consequence of Filip Dierckx’s resignation, the management changes that were announced on 1 October are to take effect at an earlier stage:

  • Daniel de Clerck immediately takes over the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chairman of the Works Council, under the responsibility of CEO Max Jadot;
  • Franciane Rays takes charge of the ALM & Treasury, Tax and Economic Research departments;
  • Khatleen Pauwels, currently in charge of E2E Operations Customers & Accounts, succeeds Daniel de Clerck as Head of E2E Operations.
