- Outstanding Global Private Bank – Europe for the fourth year running

- Outstanding Global Private Bank – North Asia for the first time

- Best Discretionary & Advisory Service Offering

“These awards reflect our clients’ trust and the commitment of our teams. They also recognise our leading position in Europe and the relevance of our unique business model across our domestic markets in France, Belgium, Italy and Luxembourg”, said BNP Paribas Wealth Management Co-CEO Sofia Merlo.

“Asia is one of our most important growth areas and this PBI honour supports our development in this direction,” added Vincent Lecomte, Co-CEO of BNP Paribas Wealth Management. “We’re delighted to see our across-the-board expertise in discretionary offerings recognised as well, a result of having a dedicated international team in place that enables dynamic, highly responsive, management.”

  • Three areas ‘Highly Commended’ by the Jury:

-   Best Next Generation Offering

In addition to its ‘Next Generation Programme’ of educational events aimed at the children of major clients, BNP Paribas Wealth Management has developed a digital network that is unique in its category. This international community, to which members connect through a private app, enables users to expand their knowledge of financial matters and encourages them to engage in dialogue with other members.

-   Outstanding Philanthropy Offering

In 2008, BNP Paribas Wealth Management launched in France a personal philanthropy offering based on two pillars: tailored personal assistance from a team of experts serving the client at every key stage in his/her philanthropy initiative(s); and a special foundation for Individual Philanthropy – La Fondation de l’Orangerie – specifically designed to receive clients’ donations and to suggest original, carefully selected projects for their generosity. This offering has since been expanded to now include platforms in the United States and Asia.

-   Most Innovative Digital Offering

This accolade recognises BNP Paribas Wealth Management’s determination to use digital channels to optimise the relationship between the Bank and its customers. Examples of innovation include the launch of new apps in Asia and Europe, an online Private Banking offering in Belgium, and a dedicated ‘Business Angels’ platform in Turkey.
