SocialCom announces continuation of Co.Station activities in partnership with BNP Paribas Fortis

SocialCom,an agency which specialises in social network communication for small and medium-sized firms, has announced that it is to re-start the Co.Station initiative. Co.Station is an incubator and accelerator for young innovation-oriented companies and other dynamic firms working in the digital economy. This initiative will recommence thanks to a partnership forged with BNP Paribas Fortis, the aim being to encourage the growth of a dynamic and collaborative ecosystem that will enable companies in this field to optimise their chances of success.

SocialCom and BNP Paribas Fortis are currently working together to set additional partnerships in motion. The partners are also drawing up an advice and support programme designed to meet the needs of innovation-oriented companies. Priority will be given to companies in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector, especially firms working to develop solutions for the financial sector, for the Smart City[1] and for energy savings.

Baudouin de Troostembergh, Founder and Business Development Manager at SocialCom, comments: ″We’re delighted that BNP Paribas Fortis, which is very much aware of the needs of the real economy, is keen to support innovative companies in Belgium. This partnership will enable Co.Station to draw on the expertise of BNP Paribas Fortis and the BNP Paribas Group in general, including their network in Belgium and abroad. This should enable us to give entrepreneurs and companies in our ecosystem every chance of success.″

Co.Station is based in the centre of Brussels close to the cathedral of Saint-Michel and Sainte-Gudule. It has premises with a floorspace of 2,845 m2, equipped with the latest infrastructure, including a work café. Companies can use the office space under a variety of arrangements – renting permanent offices or temporary workspace, or on a membership basis. Events, conferences and meetings can also be held there as Co.Station has a large reception area and can make the appropriate services available.
