Four days of discounted cinema fun thanks to BNP Paribas Fortis

From Wednesday 18 to Saturday 21 September 2024, the We Love Cinema Days with BNP Paribas Fortis are back as usual. For just 6 euros, everyone can attend a film screening in one of the 36 participating cinemas throughout Belgium. In addition to a number of new releases, there will also be a one-off screening of a classic from the year 2000 and a screening with live film music.

For the 19th consecutive year, BNP Paribas Fortis is supporting We Love Cinema Days. The formula is well known: for 4 days, everyone can go to the cinema for 6 euros. The discounted ticket is available to all film lovers, customers and non-customers of BNP Paribas Fortis alike.

Early releases, live music and a touch of nostalgia
During the We Love Cinema Days with BNP Paribas Fortis, film lovers will be able to enjoy not only the regular programme, but also numerous special activities. For those who want to be the first to see the latest releases, there will be several early screenings. On Saturday evening, for example, there is Audrey Diwan’s Emmanuelle, starring Noémie Merlant and Naomi Watts, among others. The film is a modern version of the 1974 classic of the same name, starring Sylvia Kristel. ​

For lovers of comic fantasy, Harold and the Purple Crayon premieres on Wednesday afternoon. In this combination of live action and animation, the title character manages to bring everything to life simply by drawing it.

It’s been over decades since the premiere of Gladiator, starring Russell Crowe,but the sequel to this classic film is due out this autumn. For those who can't wait, this epic from the year 2000 will be re-released on the evening of Saturday 21 September in one of the participating cinemas.

The youngest among us can discover the joys of going to the cinema with a screening of The Family Mouse. Pianist Toon Smet will provide live accompaniment to three short, colourful films. This wonderful experience will take place on Wednesday afternoon at Kinepolis Antwerp and on Saturday afternoon at Kinepolis Hasselt.

Film marathons
Do you want to stay in the cinema for a long time and immerse yourself in the adventures of the big screen heroes? It’s possible, because there are two film marathons on the programme.

On Wednesday evening, Venom and its sequel Venom: let there be carnage. An ideal opportunity to refresh your memory, as the third part of the series based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name will be released in October.

To coincide with the release of Part 3 later this year, the first two Sonic The Hedgehog films will be screened on Saturday night. Based on the computer game series, these films star Jim Carrey and James Marsden, among others.
